Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice is fired by Rutgers because of video footage of him hitting players and throwing basketballs at them. Jimmy Martelli assistant to Mike Rice is shown participating in these behaviors at Rutgers practice as well. They are both seen and heard making gay slurs at the players as well.
I think that both of these coaches should be fined and banned from the NCAA and any other coaching positions for life. I do not believe Mike Rice when he says that he is sorry from his actions, not even a little bit and i have no respect for Mike Rice or Jimmy Martelli and i never will.
