Dirk Nowitzki became the 17th player in NBA history to record 25,000 total points over his career. The shot to put him over was a mid-range shot over New Orleans Hornets, Robin Lopez. There are only 2 active players in the NBA to have reached this milestone, they are Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett.
Dirk Nowitzki has always been one of my favorite players. I have watched him excel since I was a little kid. I would like to say congratulations to Dirk on his accomplishment as his hall of fame career continues to grow.
